Lithium or lead-carbon: usage decides, not price

Storage that empties and refills every day is a different problem from storage waiting for an outage. For daily cycling, lithium wins clearly: high depth of discharge, thousands of cycles, better charge efficiency, and a cost per kWh actually drawn that soon falls below lead despite the higher purchase price. For a backup reserve called on a few times a month, lead-carbon remains defensible.

The cycle count on a datasheet assumes 25 °C. In our climate an unventilated plant room runs far hotter, and real service life suffers — whatever the technology. Ventilation is therefore not an installation detail: it is part of the sizing.

We start from your consumption profile and the days of autonomy you need, never from a capacity chosen in advance. An oversized bank is expensive and never fully recharges; an undersized one is worked too deep and is replaced twice as soon.

Technologies, capacities, system voltage and warranty terms are set out in the proposal.
